Chef David Matern
David's culinary foundation was built at Boca Restaurant Group, where he honed his craft under the mentorship of Chef David Falk in a refined, fine-dining environment. His culinary journey expanded through influential collaborations with Chef Brian Voltaggio and innovative work at Cadenzas, where technique and creativity became second nature.
At Etxe, David channels these experiences into menus that reflect the soulful traditions of Spanish and French Basque cuisine—ingredient-driven, balanced, and deeply personal. His approach honors classic roots while bringing his own vision to Cincinnati's dining landscape.

Heather Brady
Heather began her hospitality career in Atlanta under Kevin Rathbun, mastering operational precision and the art of genuine service. Her foundation in old world wines and fine dining was further developed with Chef David Falk, after spending years at Barcelona Wine Bar where her passion for Spanish cuisine and wine culture truly flourished.
At Etxe, Heather leads the guest experience and curates a beverage program championing Basque, Spanish, and old world wines alongside creative cocktails. Her approach blends technical expertise with the personal warmth that defines genuine hospitality.
